Typography & love letters

My friends Matt and Laura, in Pittsburgh, Pa, are a couple. They are both artists who attract other awesome art. At first they had 0 kids, now they have 2. For years I read one framed piece in their home, it said, “I have always known it was you.” Seeing that sign up in their warm home, makes everything seem easy. It was up, even before the babies. Inspired, I went through some famous love letters and poems. I used my favorite quotes in the same simple typography style, just to extend the idea of such poetic simplicity. Here are three of them. Message me if you want a print or any typography, personalized even.

“You have touched me more profoundly than I thought even you could have touched me-my heart was full when you came here today. Henceforward I am yours for everything.”

– Elizabeth Barrett Browning to Robert Browning

“(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands”

– e.e. cummings
